330ml can from Ales and Lagers, Publika, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear almost black colour with a mostly lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light ashtray caramel. The flavour is moderate liqourice bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, malty, molasses, roasty, light chocolate, coffee, liqourice bitter palate. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml can from The Good Beer Company, China Square, Singapore. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is floral hops and pineapple. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, herbal, light pineapple citrus, floral, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. An interesting beer for sure and I was happy to drink it, but I would not be looking forward to the next 23 cans if I’d bought a case.

Draft at Lil’s Taproom, Little India, Singapore. Poured a hazy pink colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is raspberries, vanilla and lactose. The flavour is moderate to light sour, light sweet, with a crisp, tart raspberry, sweet vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Exactly as described. Tasty and easy to drink, but perhaps a little too sweet to drink more than a pint of this.
