Draught at Hawkes, London 15Apr2022. Deep red colour, pinkish foam rim and aroma of juicy raspberry, strawberry, jammy. Taste is sweet, fruity berries, raspberry, strawberry, cordial-like, syrupy & jammy, with just alittle tartness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, sweet jammy berry finish. OK

750ml bottle from Hawkes, London. 7.2%. Hazy pale reddish purple colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of sour fruity, musty apple, grapey, citric, solventy. Taste is tart, dry, sour, fleshy apple, grape skins, with vinegar & solvent hints, some tangy notes and drying acidity. Medium bodied, light carbonation, very dry sour acidic finish. Quite OK.

Sample thanks to Grumbo. Pours a misty golden yellow, quite lively with a large white head receding quickly. Sweet nose with prominent dabinett, some mild honey. Taste is crisp with good dabinett definition, mead takes a backseat though some mild honey hints are present. Decent.

9/3/2022. Can courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is funky, apple, herbal, honey, slightly twiggy/floral. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, oily, average carbonation. Quite enjoyed this.

330ml can from Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy, light yellow straw colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is big pineapple. The flavour is moderate sweet and acidic, with a crisp, sweet and tart pineapple, light vanilla palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Tasty if you like pineapple, but would become a little sickly very quickly.

Bottle at Rich's. It pours clearish green - blonde with a tiny white head. The aroma is sweet, tangy, sour, sherbet, apple, pear, must, pear drops, sweet syrup, apple skin and spicy oak. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, sharp, crunchy, granny smith apples, pear, snappy, apple skin, funk, touch of alcohol, minerality, light alcohol, tannin and basement with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Fun stuff.

Sensory Session #52: looks realy juicy, pale and almost no head. Aroma like a Sour Pina Colada. Sweet & pineapple. Taste follows the nose, but less sweeter than expected. Fruity, sugar pineapples and a nice soft carbonation which fits very well.
