Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a beige head. Nose is coffee, light smoke, dark chocolate, burnt toffee. Flavours are coffee, more smoke, black treacle, dark chocolate. Deep roasty malt finish. Exactly how a porter should be.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 11th October 2019. Hazy amber with disappearing foam and no lacing. Fruity aroma with biscuit malt. Grassy hoppiness in-mouth and a sharp bitter grassy finish. A little one-dimensional. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Near black with a small off-white head. It's fairly gritty through a strength in its dark maltiness with a more dominant rye, which provides some spice.

Keg at the Beatnikz taproom, Manchester, 03/10/19. Light black with a decent beige head. Nose is pine needle, dark malts, mellow roast, dried berry fruits. Taste comprises balanced roast, pine needle, ashen tones, toffee, light cocoa sprinkle, red berry dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close dusted with earthy hop bitterness. Solid on point CDA.
