Description
The brainkitten of Steve Grae and Ben Duckworth - a new London brewery and tasting room, doing things a bit differently.

Started production late-2016 at 39a Markfield Road, Tottenham. Moved in 2018 to half of the Old Partizan site in Bermondsey.

Moved in summer 2020 to a brewpub in Brixton.

Excellent kettle sour named after my dear friend. Lots of raspberry and lime. Blackberry. Puckering coated finish. Long summer drinks. Excellent beer. Lactose is just right.

On tap at Fuggles Beer Cafe Tonbridge. Orange pink hazy colour thin pink head. Lots of blood orange and cranberry flavour. Some acidity. Not a lot of malt presence. Fine fruity beer.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2019 - London. Pours clear yellow with a bubbly, white head. Very dry with strong pithy minerality, pine needles, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Strongly dry and bitter in the finish. So so overall.

Can from Great Grog. Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of straw and melon rind. Flavour of lemon and crackers. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Simple and light.

Cask at pigs ear 2019. A light hazed bright yellow straw coloured pour with a a lasting loose white head. Aroma is bright citrus, lemon, pineapple, juicy, light bready grains. Flavour is composed of lemony, zesty., zippy citrus, pale grains, straw,. Lingering, bright citrus. Palate is nice, soft carbonation, lemony, light grainy dryness.

2/12/2019. 250ml can from Three Hounds Bottle Shop, Beckenham. Pours black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, sweet coconut milk, raspberry, light roasted malt and a slight nutty/husk edge. Medium sweetness, light ot moderate bitterness. Towards full bodied, with a slick/sticky texture and average to soft carbonation. Dry, slighlty tart and increasing bitter finish. Quite palatable.

Tap at brewery. Bright orange / golden with a small silky head. Light citrus, orange peel in the aroma. Taste is sharp and sweet, and offers a light bitter finish. Slick, oily.
