Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, earthy, a touch halitosis. Taste is chocolate, earthy, roasted malts, a bit watery but still flavourful. You do notice that it's lighter, but it's still very flavourful and doesn't have this typical wort flavour. Best alcoholfree beer I've ever had - which gives bonus points in "Overall".

330ml bottle. Darkest brown colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Cautious, sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, a tart-ish touch of oak, whiffs of vanilla. Taste is roasty dark malty, minimally oaky, a touch of liquorice, vanilla; smooth, soft, silky palate. Quite sophisticated but with a considerable lack of intensity.

Fläschla: Golden, hazy, rather quickly collapsing loose off-white head; moderate to solid nose of sweet wheat malt and bananas, mild hops underneath; almost solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and a bit tart; gets hoppier and more bitter in the fruity and also a bit boozy finish. Unusual, but quite good...

Bottle: Very dark amber coloured, small and stable tanned head, mild to moderate sweetish-bitter toasty-roasty nose, coffee, cacao and traces of dried berries in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a light acidity, medium bodied and pretty soft; lingering bitter-sweet finish of chocolate and toasted malt, gets even drier and a bit hoppier towards the aftertaste. Not great, but well drinkable, though....

330ml bottle. Milky, faint copper-ish, amber colour with small to average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Cautious, tart-ish and sweet-ish, yeasty spicy, almost Saison-like aroma, hints of clove, brine and mustard seed, slightly disguised banana, a honey touch. Taste is slightly sweet wheaty, yeasty fruity, reduced hints of banana, a touch of orange, mandarine, apricot, minimally spicy hints of hay. Clean, filtrated - seems to strive for a pinkle-strutting target audience.

0.33 l bottle from ’Bierhandwerk’, best before May 2017. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, pear, peach, some honey and clove. Medium sweet, malty, quite fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of pear, peach, banana, honey and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Over medium-bodied, almost creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite tasty, unusually fruity for a Weizenbock, absolutely round. Doesn’t have much of the typical banana and clove flavours, but that’s not a bad thing in this case!
