(On tap) Hazy golden with good yellow tinted white head. Tropical and pepper aroma. Medium body with plenty of mouth filling soft carbonation. Taste like aroma has tart tropical fruit and peppery spice. Unusual and enjoyable.

(On tap) Clear golden with big dense white head. Pleasant subtle grassy aroma. Medium bodied with great carbonation. Flavour is a bit citrus, some gentle sweetness and some nice hoppy bitterness. Very good.

A beautifully blended IP from To Ol! Richer in body than expected. Notes of coffee, rye spice, toffee, dark chocolate and woody herbalness. Absolutely nailed the interaction between sweetness, heat, spiciness and earth tones. One of the best

Thin off-white head on a deep mahogany body. Rich, pungent nose of caramel malt, rye, dark and dried fruit, spice and booze. A blast of BW taste elements - dense malt base, spiced rye, plums, apricots, biscuits, citrus hops, candied fruit and alcohol warmth. Slick, rich mouth feel, but not too sticky. Sustained and beautifully balanced.

Hazy gold body with a thick fluffy white head. Nose has fruity and tropical elements with bready malt. A very refreshing and drinkable DIPA. A variety of fruity hop tastes (Citra and Centennial, after all) lead off the taste profile. Sweet grapefruit, juicy tropical fruit, and a spritz of lemon create an easy drinking taste. Touches of peach and orange with very light bready malt keep this a very clean and understated double at 9.3%. It’s a lovely beer, but I can’t rate such a big beer any higher unless it delivers something more spectacular.

The nose features very dark fresh ground coffee with a touch of cream. The taste is highlighted by super integration. The fresh ground coffee leads the taste profile as well, with milk chocolate and a touch of molasses, which comes out as the beer warms up.

A beautiful blend of several tastes - expresso coffee, citrus hops, and semi-sweet chocolate leading the way. Roasted malt and dark berries underpin it with touches of cream and rye spice. A relatively full and rich body, moderate carbonation and a long, smooth and dry finish cap off this gem of a black double IPA. The category leader.
