Cloudy blond color; medium sized head. The hop aroma is citrusy and a bit creamy. The mouthfeel is bone dry, with some dry toffee flavor and strong bitterness, some resins and light lemony touch. The final tends to be bitter and aggressive. Pleasant but unrefined.

Draught at Plan B, Copenhagen
Light amber color; creamy head. The aroma is strong, nice, hoppy, fruity (apricots, peaches and durian), lightly cheesy. The body is quite round, and surely bold; there is some sweet malt and toffee flavor, quite clean, with a powerful bitterness, bringing a lot of hop resins and enough fruity character, bitter oranges. Very good.

Bottled. Black, beige head. Aroma of licorice and tobacco. Mid sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Leather and ink, heavily resiny bitterness. Aggressive and overhopped.

Bottle 330ml @ Geokkjer
Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate and a little smoke, pine and grass. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. It pours a black body and a big, light tan head, leaving lacings. Mostly hoppy aroma, pine cones and citrus peel, with roasted malts. Dry, full-bodied and nicely carbonated, with roasted malts and a nice hoppy addition. Long, roasted and bitter finish. Well, certainly nice, but it’s a bit ordinary. Wouldn’t mind drinking more of it though. 110827

Botle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Cap date is 24/03/13. Pours hazy orange gold with a creamy/foamy 3 finger off-white head. The aroma is to die for. Lush floral and citric. Med+ body. Flavor is lots of floral and citric hop over a crushed, leveled harsh roast malt spine. The hop just never stops, and it’s wonderful. With time the bitterness approaches harshness, but perhaps that’s too harsh. OMFG, this is a wonderful experience.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of grapefruit and peach and pine. Sweet fruity flavour with a bit of biscuit and grass. Hoppy and very bitter finish

Bottle, 5.8%. Distinct caramelly hop aroma, refreshing and slightly cheesy. Cloudy copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is nicely hoppy, like the aroma, but less caramelly. Good bitterness, not too powerful, quite clean.

Bottle. It’s an unclear, orangey golden beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Nice lacings. The aroma is very piney and grapefruity, with some space left for maltyness. Flavorwise there’s a lot of bitterness and green pine cones, some sugary peaches too. A bit too sweet I think. It’s full-bodied, smooth and quite nicely carbonated, finishing bitter and with flavors of grapefruit and pine cones. A nice beer indeed, but in my opinion a bit on the sweet side. 110803
