En fullmatad dubbelipa. Massor av malt och humle i bra balans med varandra. Doft av marmeladkok på grape och tropisk frukt. Maffigt! Vätskan är tjockt sirapsaktig och lite grumlig. Men 408 IBU?

0,33 l. bottle from Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Funnily settler theme on the label, we´re going west... Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Unclear, light orange colour. The aroma shows what this is about: Hops - and a lot of it.. Loads of nice grapefruit notes, citrus and peaches. Heavy bitter taste, with a oily, long lasting palate. This is not a understated beer, everything is brutal "in your face" style. I like that...

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Gustav Adolfs Torg, Malmö. Hazy pale amber, rich firm head, Aroma of canteloupe and grapefruit. Sweet and caramelly, heavily boozy with abrupt vodka flavour. The hops are lost in a sea of caramel. Malt liquor deluxe?

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen. Poured a hazy orange colour with a generous off white head. Piney resin sodden hop agogo in the nose with the addition of tropical fruit and sweet malts. The flavour followed suit and was bloody tasty with it. Glorious fruity notes allowed this to holler ’drink me now !’ loudly from the glass. ABV supremely well masked. An all round top notch DIPA guvnor.

From tap at Café Langebro, Copenhagen. Pours dark brown with a chocolate coloured brown head. Aroma is dark roasted malts, fruits and liqourice. Bitter, dark roasted malts. Bitter, liqourice and dark malty into the finish. Bitter and dry finish, that lasted almost a decade.Or so. I like the combination of hop bitterness and the sweetness from the liqource in the malts.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar and more! Early February as a tasty end to a week in Prague. Black with a firm and lasting tan head. Hoppy aroma of pine and orange peel, with a touch of licorice. Rich flavour of licorice with coffee and light roasted notes, lots of pine hops and a massive bitterness. Full bodied. At late, 2½ years later re-rate I believe this may well be the one and only heir to Ølfabrikken Porter...

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit, pine needles and orange peel. Fruity, malty taste with grapefruit, pine needles, a solid malt foundation and a generous bitterness in a finish with earthy, citric hops. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Solid, well made and tasty IPA. Very nice.

Bottle from Vinens Verden. Hazy golden with a big white head. Hoppy aroma dominated by peach, along with pine, grass and grapefruit. Sweetish fruity hop flavour with lots of pine and peach. Very bitter, as in "burns the throat wonderfully".
