375ml bottle from Chez Sophie, aged in the cellar for 5 years, drunk on Boxing Day 2025. Pours ink black, rocky deep tan head, dissipating to loose bubbles. Aged gracefully, exceptionally smooth, balanced, finely tuned.. chocolate and bourbon very well intertwined. Proper.

Bottle drunk with Björn at Christmas, drink with Bouche Noel. 2021 Vintage, 14.5 percent 375 bottle. Dark black, almost no head, light carb. Slight soy and sweet syrupy nose. Flavor is bready bourbon-vanilla, very smooth, not too alk-hot (though we've just had an Amarone before). Good complexity and big rounded and rich flavor. Right on To Øl!
