Die Brauerei Schwarzer Adler, von der uns noch unser Wappentier erhalten ist, hat sich im Laufe der Zeit zur Brauerei Eichhorn entwickelt. Unsere Familie hat sich der handwerklichen Brautradition verschrieben, und wir stellen mit modernster Brautechnik in aller Ruhe ausgereifte Biere nach dem bayerischen Reinheitsgebot von 1516 her. Und daran wird sich auch in Zukunft nichts ändern.

Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, corn notes, light hoppy, dusty old hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Nice balanced. 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild cornish to grassy with a mild citrusy note. Bitter, light plastic phenolic and grassy hops flavoured in a dry combo. Bitter and dry finish.

Golden and sparkly. Thin head. Great spicy hop nose with biscuity hop backdrop. Crisp, well-attenuated. Not supremely bitter, but quite crisp and it has a nice hop character.

Ceramic mug, frothing over. Spicy, herbal hop aroma. Fresh, leafy character with a spicy aftermath. Somewhat crisp carbonation accentuates the leafy dryness of the hops. A taste vom holz at the brewpub confirms this, except that sample was a bit woodier.

Bottle, 5.0%. OK malty aroma, hint of flowery aroma hops. Clear yellow colour. OK stable plasticky white head. The flavour starts off a little citric, seems to come from the hops. Turns a little sweeter and maltier. Medium bitterness in the finish.
