bottle from Wine of Dreams/Jola Warszawa. Deep brown colour, large beige head. Lovely, lovely aroma of forest honey! Full-bodied, solid malty base with hints of caramel, lots of delicious forest honey/dark honey/pine tree honey in there. Smooth palate. Incredibly well balanced, a true delight. I would drink this anytime, hope I can get it again. The best Polish honey beer I’ve tasted so far. Outstanding.

bottle at my friend’s home in Mokotów. Hazy deep golden-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of honey. Full-bodied, not too sweet yet full of honey, shy hoppy finish. Biscuity-grainy malty base. Another well crafted and delicious honey beer from Poland.

Well-hopped (written on the label: from five different hop varieties), fresh, subtle and pleasing. The slightly bitter aftertaste. It just makes a fresh impression. The best Pilsener from Poland, which I have ever tasted!

0.5l bottle shared with ClubGonzo. This porter pours a deep deep brown - near black body with a tanned fingersize head leaving big lacings. Aroma is malty with thin chocolate and some strange eggshell-notes. Quite full-bodied and medium carbonated. Nice roasted flavors and quite sweet with a light milky feeling and a really longlasting chocolate finish. You can sense the warming alcohol in the aftertaste. A good baltic one this.

bottle, many thanks to Schroppfy! Clear, deep golden yellow, large white head, leaving lots of lacework. Aroma of hops and caramel. Malty base with a rustic, grainy, bready, bicuity character and some hints of caramel. There are 5 different hops in the beer: bitter hops Marinka (PL), bitter-aromatic Sybilla (PL), Lublin aroma hops (PL), also Zatec hops from CZ and Tettnanger from D. The beer has a nice hoppy character, well-balanced, biter and aromatic. There is a tiny touch of smoke or something burnt present, which makes the beer more and more interesting with every sip. A pleasure - anytime again!
