Pours dark and deep brown. Smell is intense, sweet, liquorice, sugars, old coffee. Taste is sweet, roasty to an ashy degree, old coffee, some sugar. Sweet, but well roasted to give some balance. Too sweet to me, though. Especially in the ending, this is simple sugary. Not a big fan of this one.

500ml bottle from eBrowarium. Orangey gold colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of grains, fruity. Taste is malt, caramel, grains, toffee, with fruity notes, mellow citrus, some honey, sweetness, and dusty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Quite strong, coffee/dark chocolate tones. Foam some sharp carbonation at start, then quickly disappears, little creamy, by taste little bitterness, some small bitter aftertaste in neck after swallowing. Taste quite low bitterness, short aftertaste, but stays in throat, not bad. Bottle is custom also bottle cap is decent - wolf with name porter on it, bonus for me. In general - quite good beer, aftertaste lowers score for me a bit, but based on ratings expected better.

Barwa jasnozłota, piana biała, wysoka drobnopęcherzykowa. W aromacie nuty słodowe oraz lekkie cytrusy połączone z tropikami. W smaku delikatnie wodniste, goryczka na odpowiednim poziomie. Jak na poziom %% to daje radę.

Barwa jasnozłota, lekko zamglone, piana wysoka ładnie zdobi szklankę. W aromacie wyczuwalne pomarańcze oraz kolendra. W smaku słodkie, ale nie przesłodzone, fajnie smak dopełnia goryczka na niskim poziomie. Ciekawy witbier.

500ml Bottle - Amber in colour. Pine, grapefruit, caramel and some slightly biscuity notes. Hoppy and fruity taste with pine, grapefruit, raisins, dried apricot and caramel. Quite nicely balanced and it is nice to have an old-school American IPA.

330mml. bottle as part of the "European Local Swap 2/2018", many thanks to vami for this bottle. Tasted on the 24/05/2018 at home. Yellow colour with a medium and persistent white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus, corn and some wheat. Taste is yeast, citrus and slightly pine. Dry and carbonated finish. Next one please!

Interesting aroma, chocolate, dark fruits, figs, tar. Low carbonation, a bit oily, full bodies, sweet; very good chocolate flavour, fruit juice. Excellent.
2018-06-28, tasting at Matt's, bottle, 7-4-8-4-16=39
Dark brown colour with no head. Nice caramel aroma with a hint of sweat and smoke, wood. Good body, bold and lean at the same time; dark caramel base, with petrol, tar, light smoke, light acidity; light earthy touch in the finish, and boutique coffee.
Elegant and complex; excellent.
