Description
In the beginning of 2014 a small adventure begun, a brand new microbrewery called ELIXI was born in the area of Chalkida. A microbrewery focused on the production of craft beer products characterized by the absence of pasteurization and filtration as well as with the use of the traditional way of fermentation inside the bottle.

A family business whose members come from completely different business backgrounds and experiences which can be shown in the diversity of the labels and brands produced.

Since the first moments of its operation has invested in the establishment of a new state of the art brewery in the area of Drosia in Chalkida. The selection of the location was based on the excellent quality of the local water as well as its geographical position near the main motorway of the country.

The premises cover an area of 1000m2 and house cutting edge equipment for the production, bottling and storage of products.

Massive gusher on pour: 100ml shouts out a whole glassful of head which only slowly recedes with egg white structures... This is going to take a while. Fresh noble hop like aromas. Herbal, a bit floral (perhaps the honey). Pretty Pils like. Taste is the same. Lingering bitterness. Bit hollow in the mid range. Sweetish. Ok

330ml bottle. Opalescent, orange goldenb colour with huge, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, grassy, minimally floral, hoppy and dusty yeasty aroma, rather neutral, pale and minimally wheaty malty background, hints of pollen, a touch of honey. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty and pale malty, slightly floral and grassy hoppy, floral hints of honey, a touch of petals, grape sugar.
Watery texture, dry palate, medium to coarse, prickly to lively carbonation.
Nice but rather cautious composition, a bit overcarbonated - OK.

330ml bottle. Opalescent, reddish, dark amber colour with average, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly bready and grainy, pale malty, minimally fruity and doughy yeasty aroma, hints of hibiscus. Taste is slightly grainy, pale malty, doughy yeasty and tart-ish, fruity, hints of hibiscus, a touch of red berries.
Watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, medium to fine, dense, foamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Barely disguised, typical Low Alcoholic, doughy yeasty flavours, barely refreshing fruitiness - nice idea, implementation is not fully convincing.
