Ceramic mug. Airy head. Orangey-brown colour. Minerally, hoppy nose. Hoppy and minerally but with more dark malt than comparably hoppy Franconian country beers. Pretty refreshing and the caramelly, earthy dark malts add an element of warmth.

On tap at the brewery: Dark amber coloured; thin foamy layer; quite full-bodied brew; malty taste, but not sweet at all; surprisingly bitter flavour and sharp bitter-hoppy finish; typical franconian "Landbier", nice and pleasant combination of a malty body with a distinctive bitter finish......
