As Gustl Helles at 4.9% ABV. Clear gold with a moderate white frothy head of medium retention. Clean pale malt, yeast traces, straw, spicy hop. Medium dry. Light hop bitterness. Slightly rustic. OK.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a dense, creamy and lacing shaving foam style off-white head with excellent retention - a very good looking beer. Toffee and chocolate in the nose, Rich, sweet flavors of biscuits, toffee, molasses and nuts - but not really sweet. Soft mouthfeel with a lowish carbonation. Some warming alcohol in the finish, but generally extremely easy going and balanced. 091225

Picked up from a 12 bottle box Kalea? from Globus. Plattling, €13. Consumed at home Tuesday 2nd December 2025 listening to Huw Stephens on 6Music. Pours clear mid gold, with a clean white head. A hint of grass, farm, barn on the nose, lingering underground bitterness. Very nice mouthfeel, soft, there's a little bit of crispness, a touch drying, a hint of vanilla in an otherwise undetermined light fruity flavour. Better than expected, wasn't a fan at first but grew on me.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey brown with a dense, creamy and lacing, beige head. Intense aroma of yeast, overripe fruit and alcohol. Solid body, but not overly rich. Malt, banana and overripe fruit with a yeasty edge. Super smooth mouthfeel. Hardly any bitterness. Quite lovely really. 011225

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a rich, dense and lacing white head. Very faint aroma, mainly yeast - if anything. Very thin body, but very smooth. Flavor is mostly yeastiness, minerals and salt - salt yes. No bitterness. Generally not too bad on the wort notes but it's mainly yeast in a bottle. 241125

Optisch goldgelb und opaltrüb. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone wirkt wässerig-flaumig und mäßig gut haltbar. Die Duftaromatik zeigt sich betont getreidig bis fruchtig malzig und leicht staubig-hefig mit einem leicht heuigem Hopfenton im HIntergrund. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, sehr weich und feinrezent und präsent getreidig bis zart fruchtig malzig. Im Mund präsentiert sich ein schlanker Körper mit sehr weicher und feiner Rezenz, seidiger Textur und zarter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch setzten sich die prominent getreidigen Malznoten mit zarter Hefigkeit und Fruchtigkeit fort. Die gut eingebundene, leicht trocken-heuige Hopfenherbe sorgt für die nötige Ausgewogenheit. Gesamtbetrachtet relativ einfach gehalten, jedoch harmonisch und gut trinkbar. Landbiercharakter... Im Nachtrunk halten die getreidigen Noten noch gut an, bevor sich leicht trockene, grasig-heuige, zart bittere Hopfennoten einstellen.

Optisch sehr hellgelb und opaltrüb. Die weiße, mittelporige Schaumkrone fällt sofort wieder in sich zusammen. Die Duftaromatik wirkt, wie so oft, frisch und zitronig limonadig. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm rezent und süß limonadig mit reifer Zitrusaromatik. Der Körper wirkt leicht und limonadenartig mit entsprechender Rezenz, leichter Textur und hoher Süße. Geschmacklich und aromatisch setzt sich die bereits erwähnte Aromatik fort... sehr süße Limonade mit leichter Säure und reifem Zitruscharakter. Wie so oft: Limo pur - von Bier keine Spur! Naja, immerhin schmeckt es "nur" nach Limo und nicht zu komisch künstlich. Im Nachtrunk lassen Süße und Säure langsam nach und ein Hauch von frischer Zitrusfrucht und leicht fruchtiger Herbe bleiben über.
Fazit: Wenn ein Radler ausschließlich nach Limonade und vor allem sehr süß und in keiner Phase nach Bier schmeckt, brauche ich dieses Getränk nicht. Positiv erwähnen kann man aber, dass dieses Getränk alles andere als übel ist.

zufällig gefunden in einem Bierlokal in meinem Herkunftsdorf und schon etwas alt im Geschmack.
Es ist ein süffiges 🍻 Dunkles, das nicht zu süß ist und leicht rauchig ☁️ ist.
Kein Top-Bier 🎩, aber durchaus ok.
