NYC Beer Week opening Bash: pours clear gold with a white heAd. Aroma is bready and very fruity. Taste is lightly sweet, fruity. And malty.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with orange and grapefruit. The flavor was tangy and bitter with lemon, grapefruit, pine and a bit of yeast. Medium length finish with growing bitterness. Medium length finish.

Can. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Orange notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a medium golden color with a medium sized creamy yellow-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was cream, somewhat off and had a faint vague fruity hop note. The flavor was off, buttery and tangy with a vague hop note. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth. Not good.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a murky orange color with a medium sized creamy white head that left great lacing. The aroma was citrus, tropical fruit and yeast. The flavor was tangy and bitter with citrus, tropical fruit, yeast and almost baking spices. Very long finish. Full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Solid.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy dark brown head that left good lacing. The aroma was bitter with dark fruit, cocoa, cookie dough and anise. The flavor was biter with strong anise, toasty and roasty malts, floral hops and cocoa powder. Long finish. Full, thick and creamy body. Very nice.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky yellow color with a large foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was tart and earthy with a cheap tequila presence. The flavor was musty and earthy with tequila. Long finish. Medium body. Not good.
