Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant golden color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet an tangy with piney and vague fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweet and had a bit of an off sour note with almost butterscotch, fruity hops and pine. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Ok.

Got in a BIF from oline73. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, no can dating. Pours slightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a large cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, papaya, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of juicy citrus/tropical hops, lemon/oranges, and moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, papaya, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, papaya, lemon/orange peel, light pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops, lemon/oranges, and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Light-medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/sticky, and slightly slick/syrupy/resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is fairly well hidden with a small warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice fruited double IPA. All around nice juicy citrus/tropical hops, lemon/oranges, and moderate pale malt sweetness; very smooth and easy to sip on for the ABV. Quite sweet as expected with the lactose, but has just enough bitterness to balanced it out and taste like pure hop juice. A very enjoyable offering.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 7/25/2016. Aroma is very mandarin forward with some pith as well. Some light pine resin and hop oil notes with other citrus notes. Some light cracker malt notes and a hint of alcohol. As it warms up more of that dank, oniony-garlic note comes out. Pours a moderately hazy, dull golden straw color with a medium large, moderately thin, white head that exhibits surprisingly good retention while it recedes to the edges where it lingers. Pretty hazy, but not nearly as hazy as the NE IPAs. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a medium light cracker malt note. Medium high bitterness. Moderately strong mandarin notes with juice as well as the peel being present in the flavor profile. Moderate dank onion and garlic notes with some medium light pine resin. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA but not a spectacular one. Lots of orange and dank notes, but the other fruit character is rather lacking.

500mL can, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tangy citrus, some cat piss and dry biscuity malt. Flavour brings out tangy citrus, sweet bready malt, and a mineraly bready finish. A bit off but not too bad. Solid.

Bottle. It pours a light pink color with a foamy head. The aroma is strong with herbs and cranberries. The flavor is the same. A little orange to go along with the cranberry and light herbal notes. Ok.
