Tap at hollywood gardens, interesting place with eye candy. Clear pale. For a pilsner, it has an alarmingly BO aroma that makes me think this is going to be an IPA. However, after the first taste, my fear is calmed. Fairly flat is the first impression. Then I see its not really bitter IPA hopped! Quite pleased. It very friendly on the uptake and now I think this may be one of the better pilsners I've had for a while. None of that really sharp old country piercing astringent bite so common in the contemporary examples. Pretty good stuff overall! Well balanced finish. Now, if they could only do something about that smell!

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a caramel brown color with a large creamy orange beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was faint with hints of smoke and wood. The flavor was dry and medicinal with wood, cardboard and a touch of smoke. Medium length finish. Medium body. Not good.

Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a hazy yellow gold color with a large foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was dry and musty with subdued leafy hops. I he flavor was bitter and dry with notes of grain, cardboard, an off medicinal note and a bit of bitter citrus. Long finish. Medium body. Underwhelming.

23/X/17 - 1Pt. 6Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: n/a (2017-1819) Thanks to Erwin for sharing the bottle!

Cloudy orange beer, practically no head. Aroma: sweet malts, strawberry candy, overripe grapefruit and oranges, pretty unpleasant. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweetish, bit weird, lactose, sourish, unpleasant, rotting orange peels, not bitter. Aftertaste: strawberry, bit resinous, rotten fruits, man, what a monstrosity of a beer, this is plain bad.
