10/6/2022. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours clear pale gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, grass, malt, butter, fruit, hint of banana. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, watery oily, average carbonation.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, dark yellow-ish to orange, golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Rather weak, grainy and strawy aroma, light biscuity, pale malty interludes. Taste is fairly bitter hoppy, minimally grainy and strawy pale malty in a very clean mode, a light biscuity, pale malty touch with little residual sweetness as well. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Very clean, well crafted, well balanced - nice.

330ml bottle. Clear, orange golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, starchy, pale malty aroma, a floral touch of honey. Taste is sweet-ish, slightly starchy, pale malty, a touch of honey, bitter hoppy counterpart; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, soft carbonation. Clean, simple - not overly impressive.

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with small, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Initially minimally strawy and grainy, minimally spicy, pale malty aroma, grassy hoppy overtones, later clean pale malty, very light fruity hoppy hints of green apple. Taste is minimally grainy and strawy, overall pretty clean, pale malty, slightly mineral, minimally grassy, hoppy overtones, subtle sweetness, very light fruity hints of apple, fine bitterness. Minimally oily-creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Well balanced, mild and fine - good.

Freudenberger Festbier, Flasche von REWE Wolf, Biedenkopf. - Goldgelb, blank; schöner Schaum. - In der Nase dichtes, tief brotiges helles Malz mit zarter Vanillesüße und schwerer, mediterran angehauchter herbaler Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk satt und tief hellmalzig mit zarter Kandissüße, etwas Vanille, Honig und milder, dennoch markanter herbaler Hopfung, die feine Züge von mediterranen Kräutern und sogar Spuren von Olive aufweist. Mild rezent, vollmundig, gerstig tief. Im Abgang hintergründige Herbe. - Außergewöhnliches Festbier, heller als die meisten und von dichter, satter Körperlichkeit, mild aber aromatisch gehopft. Probierenswert! (15.3.2022.)

12-01-20 // 500ml bottle from mein-biershop.de. Pours clear copper brownish with a light beige fine head. Sweet malty nose with som dried fruit and a hint of medicinal plaster. Soft mouthfeel. Rich malty. Sweeitsh. Some caramel and a little red fruity. Warming up the little fruit notes fade quickly and it’s a strong sweetish bock.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass dark, almost black, small head. Malty roasty aroma. Starts strong, intense malty, roasty, some chocolate hints. Finish a bit milde, but still warming-malty. Not bad.
