Bottle from Grima, thanks! Dark brown color. Maltaroma, bready and caramelly. Malty sweet bready, caramelly flavor with hints of milk chocolate. Full bodied. Some caramelly roasty bitterness in the finish. Very nice!

Freudenberger Hefe-Weizen, Flasche aus dem Freudenberger Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Hell goldbraun, trüb; schöner fester Schaum. - In der Nase frische Hefe über aromatischem Weizenmalz mit eleganter Süße, Vanille, gedämpfte weiche Zitrusfrucht. - Antrunk mild hefig-weizenmalzig mit feiner Vanillesüße und gut abgeschmeckter, zart fruchtiger Säure, leicht unreife Banane, Birne. Milder rezent, spritzig. Im Abgang angenehme Zitrusfrucht ohne nennenswerte Herbe. - Süffiges Hefeweizen von elegant fruchtig-süßer Malzigkeit, bei dem die sortentypisch sparsame Hopfung kaum negativ auffällt. (1.8.2019.)

Mein 100. Doppelbock auf RAB: Freudenberger Märkator, Flasche aus dem Freudenberger Mixpaket vom Biershop Bayern. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase schweres dunkles Malz, Süßwein, Rosinen. - Antrunk satt und schwer dunkelmalzig mit massiger aber nicht übertriebener Süße von gebranntem Zucker, vornehme Bitterschokolade, Pflaumenmus. Recht milde Hopfenherbe, aufgelockert durch Anis. Milder rezent, vollmundig, rund; gekonnt kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang feine Kräuter, etwas Minze. - Sehr malzbetonter, dennoch biegsamer, eleganter Doppelbock, auf Dauer aber doch zu süß. (12.7.2019.)

Freudenberger Hell, 5,1 %, Flasche per Post von Mein-Biershop.de. - Goldgelb, klar. - In der Nase gerstiges helles Malz, Vanille, Heu, aromatisch zitrusfruchtige Hopfenherbe. – Antrunk schlank und schön „hart“ gerstig-hellmalzig mit milder Zitronenschale und Heu. Milde, gut eingebundene Malzsüße. Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht trocken. Im Abgang ausreichende Herbe. - Sauberes Helles mit der leicht harten gerstigen Note, die ich so mag, dazu für ein Helles gut gehopft. Schön.
