Als „Aufsesser Pils“ ohne Keller oder Premium. Ordentliche Perlung, satter Schaum, macht Laune. In der Nase schön grünhopfig. Im Trunk erst bitter, dann harzig, kurz fruchtig, hinten feinbitter. Ganz ordentlich.

50cl bottle. A slightly hazy yellow golden colour, big white head. Aroma of lemon, mild sourish fresh lemonade. Taste of mild sourish fresh lemonade, citrus, no beer flavour.

50cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a white head. Aroma of caramelized malt, nuts and spicy hops. Taste of caramelized and nutty malt, moderate spicy bitterness.

Bottle. Light hazy pale golden, white foam. Citrus, light dust aroma. Medium mellow chewy body, light sparkly. Bready base, fruity yeast, light grassi bitter, citric hop aromatic notes. Nice.

0.5 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before November 2022. Clear, amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, slightly malty aroma of caramel, nuts, some honey and a touch of grains. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy taste of caramel, nuts, grains, some straw and traces of honey, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Lager, nicely hopped and harmonious.

Bottle from Meibier. Clear blond colour, white foam. Light sweet, a bit malty, some cereal notes. Easy drinable. Great thirst quencher.

Vom Fass an der Quelle: Clear, deep golden to copper coloured, mid-sized creamy (off-)white head with a little lace, clean bitter-sweet malty nose with a delicate but distinctive herbal-floral background and a very mild rural touch; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied and soft ( what else in Franconia…); shorter sweet-bitter silky floral and malty finish. Enjoyable franconian stuff…
