Flaska från Bierothek. Ljust gyllengul klar vätska med lågt vitt skum. Doft och smak av säd, bröd, jäst, blommor, lite fruktig sötma och hö. Lätt kropp, relativt söt, lätt beska. Trevlig

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Tuesday 28th March 2023 listening to Billy Nomates before the gig tomorrow, having Chicken and Coffee Koftas. Pours dark brown with a light haze, nice dark fruity edge, some caramel comes through. Nice softness, good dark lager, not my favourite style but it's very decent.

Flaska från Bierothek. Klar gyllengul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Drickvänlig, mjuk, len och fyllig. Säd, bröd, hö, blommor, lätt sötma och beska. Gott och en öl som vill ha mer av.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Minimally earthy, toasty, bready, mainly grainy malty aroma, a touch of spelt, very weak, fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of red berries. Taste is initially very neutral, minimally bready, grainy, toasty malty without residual sweetness and mildly bitter hoppy; that is: pure bitterness with a minimally metallic touch, maybe very subtle fruity hints of red berries; later minimally sweet and a tad more bready, close to pumpernickel, but in diluted mode. Watery texture, slightly dry, minimally repellent palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Not just light and simple, rather very cautious, almost expressionless - a bit disappointing.

Grainy, strawy, minimally spicy, pale malty and slightly grassy-spicy, hoppy aroma. Taste is slightly grainy, pale malty, mildly bitter, grassy-spicy hoppy, slightly mineral, low and subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, scattered, prickly carbonation. Light, clean and simple, balanced, refreshing - nice.

500ml bottle purchased from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. A deep gold with a lovely haze and a large but short-lived off-white head. Fresh baked bread, some cinnamon, honey in the aroma. Sweet taste, light bitterness from the hops mid-sip and a drier finish than I'd expected. It's a cracking little beer and a good example of the style.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Hazy yellow, brief head. Aroma of orange squash from concentrate. Sweet with light body and rounded mouthfeel. Cheap orange squash meets slightly bready beer. Low bitterness.
