12 ounce can. Hazy yellow gold color topped by a firm rocky white head. Pine hop nose is flamboyant if not pretentious. Big bitter resiny hops upfront. Notes of grapefruit and pine. A nice caramel malt backbone as well. Well balanced and steadfast. Spicy pink peppercorn bitter finish.

Bottle courtesy of jtclockwork who immediately removed the label. Dark clear brown color, scant head. Nice cocoa aroma. Taste is boozy milk coffee. Extra appearance point for the name. Minus one appearance point for the missing label.

Big thanks to you know who for bringing this to the RBSG2016 grand tasting. Interesting name, no? Nice unique odd musty aroma. Big & black. No co2 in this one. Even without co2 I detect something cutting on my palate. Taste readily defies the supposed alky content. In the middle its rather fun and slightly tart. Better than expected. Turned out to be a quite yummy experience. Big thanks Jt for the chance to taste this.
