Jæren Ølfestival 2021.m Dark golden color with no head. Aroma is honey, herbs. Flavor is honey, herbs, alcohol, grass. Nice mead.

Bottle from the winery at Roger and Sue's, thanks to the old man, 16/09/21. Clear golden with a decent white cap as it goes for ciders. Nose is bitter sweet apple, light farmyard twang, tannins, hint of peardrop. Taste comprises funky apple, apple orchard, tannins, hay bale, apple skins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well rounded cider.

Fra mine fortsatt dechiffrerbare skriblerier etter Jæren Ølfestival 2021 (elegant arrangert av Jæren Fråholdslag), en 0,75 flaske privatimport: klar lys strågul. Delikate toner av julekrydderier (kanel, muskat, kongerøkelse mm) i tillegg til den deilige honningsødmen. Noe parfymert? Myk og stemningsskapende.

Bottle, 75cl. A dark golden colored clear mead, still and quite oily. Honey driven aroma with a herbal touch. Alcohol and some grass. It’s full-bodied, warming, sweet and oily on the palate. Honey, flower, herbs and alcohol in the flavor. Lasting sweet honey-ish finish. Quite decent this one, although a bit straigth forward. 210813
