pFriem Family Brewers is a Northwest & Belgian inspired 15-barrel brewery and tasting room offering lunch and dinner in Hood River, OR. Located on the beautiful waterfront of the Columbia River.

pFriem artisanal beers are symphonies of flavor and balance, influenced by the great brewers of Europe, but unmistakably true to our homegrown roots in the Pacific Northwest. We are guided by a religious commitment to quality and the never ending pursuit of innovation. US Pint, on tap in a Beach Hut Deli (Mission Viejo), 24th June 2024. Slight haze to the freezing cold pour, weak white head. No aroma, very little taste, even when it warmed, some hop bitterness with a mini citrus bite.

US Pint on tap at a Beach Hut Deli (Mission Viejo) on 24th June 2024. Very cold pour, so no aroma, it didn't arrive even as the beer warmed a little. Chill haze to the light golden body, weak white affair on top. Did I mention how cold it was? Because it came in a frosted glass just in case the cooler didn't cool it enough (it did). Tasted of cold Lager!

16oz can from Boise Co-op. Mostly clear golden poor with a short lived foam whitehead. Aroma is ripe tropical fruit, biscuity malts and hops. Taste is fruity, floral, hoppy, mildly resinous Really nice with a bitter finish.

5oz pour on a flight in The Brewhouse, SJC on 18th June 2024. Clean and clear golden blonde, white crust. Refreshing and thirst quenching, but not a lot going on to be honest.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Slightly hazed yellow gold pour. Earthy, bready malt aroma. Flavor is bready and herbal with a distinct hop spiciness. Notes of lemon zest and pine. Wonderful balance and complexity.

On tap at Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, bright, persistent white h ead. Grainy, biscuity aroma, grassy. Taste is crisp, graint, bready with a mellow bitterness at the finish, with a hint of lemon.

12oz can from Albertsons. Hazy golden pour, one finger fluffy white head. Bready aroma with some citrusy, orange notes. Taste is malty, biscuity with some tangerine flavors. No pine at all. Not getting this West Coast thing ..

12oz can from Albertsons. Hazy yellow pour, small but lasting creamy white head, rings of chunky lacing. Aroma is light citrus, lemon, grapefruit . Taste is light lemon curd, grapefruit peel, very smooth and quite refreshing. Very faint zesty notes linger.
