Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is sour corn, hay, peas, cooked vegetables. Taste is sour corn again with some noble hop bitterness. Medium carbonation with some alcohol and grass in the finish. Not good.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy malty aroma with notes of white bread and a tinge of grassy hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly doughy and grainy malty base with mineralic spots and a mildly grassy hoppy touch; almost dry sweet-bitter doughy malty and slightly grassy hoppy finish. Comes close to a Helles. 27.XII.16

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and firm foamy head. Moderately grainy and doughy malty aroma with shy hints of grassy and subtle citric hops. Mildly bitter and slightly tart flavour, light bodied with an almost crisp carbonation. Slim malty base with doughy and grainy notes; mildly grassy hops towards the dry and mildly bitter finish. Not the worst alcohol-free beer out there. 21.XII.16

500ml bottle [Thanks Maddie!]. Clear, mahogany colour with ruby glimmer and average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma with a nuttily touch, hints of malt lozenge, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is moderately sweet dark malty, some caramel, hints of malt lozenge, a nuttily touch, slightly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy counterweight. Well balanced, nice.

0.5 l bottle from ’Mein-Biershop.de’, best before September 2016. Clear, very dark red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, malty and slightly roasty aroma of molasses, caramel, toasted nuts, coffee and dark chocolate. Rather sweet, malty and slightly roasty taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, coffee, dark chocolate and toasted nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately roasty finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice one! Unusually roasty and less sweet than expected, therefore very enjoyable.

Clear deep amber brown colour, good frothy beige head, slowly receding, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, brown sugar, light chocolate. Taste light heavy sweet and light to medium bitter, roasted malt, toffee, sugary, dark bread, bit milk chocolate. Sweetbitter aftertaste, roasted till the end, burned caramel and sugary notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; perhaps a bit too sweet but a pleasant bock.

330ml bottle [A big thanks to Maddie for this gem!]. Clear, chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, nuts, a touch of burnt caramel, toffee, sadly some cautious remnants of graininess. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, notes of malt lozenge, nuts, toffee, a touch of chocolate, wood and coffee; slightly sticky palate. Rich and complex, at the same time highly drinkable. Very good.
