Tap at Keyaki Spring 2017. PRetty, glowing gold with a low, thick head. Pissy Nelson nose, grapefruit, crackers. Grassy, fruity flavor, crackers, some cat piss, and a peppery, prickly finish. Crisp and grain with great hops. Nicely bitter. Classy stuff.

Clear golden with little white head. Aroma is mint, dust, orange, grapefruit. Taste is harsh bitter cracker malt with lots of mint and hoppy stuff. Easy to drink. A bit alcoholic in the finish. Not bad.

33 can at "home". Clear golden color. Rocky, somewhat frothy off whie head with some lacing. Aroma’s: malty, aromahops, light fruit. Fruit is more upfront retronasal, with some citrussy hops. Flavor is light to moderate bitter with a light malty sweetness and light fruit. Light bodied. Finishes a bit earthy and with a decent bitterness.

Keyaki fall 2016. Tons of pear and apple on the nose with booze. The pear really stands out as it warms. Boozy on the palate but somehow very light. Almost wine-like in body and character. Boozy for sure, but a rollercoaster ride. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cuve Duke on 18 Sep 2016 at 13:47 - Score: 7
