RB backlog. Malty, grassy, sweaty, hints o cheesy dough. Light to medium sweetness, toasty, light bitterness. Slick body with solid carbonation. Not too bad for an Austrian Märzen, not too sticky or over-carbonated.

Bottle from Sebilinz. Many thanks! Hazy orange colour, white foam. Nose of caramel, pine, honey, light diacetyl. Taste is sweet, piney, tropical fruit. Rather heavy and not easy drinkable IPA.

Ever so slightly hazy amber and deep copper coloured body with a relatively thick, three centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass and pure stale hop pellets with a dash of flowers and grain in the mix. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hop pellet flavour with a relatively well-supported malt backbone, some grain and light sweetness and a biting biscuity and deeply yeastie finish with a grass, flower and perfumey bite towards the end. Aftertaste shows mostly the malt and grainy side of things with a light bitterness from hops, some funkier earthy notes and biscuits coupled with yeast, but a faint kick of sweetness and perfume characteristics, especially towards the very end. Overall, a very poor beer, especially for the style [naturally], but throwing in way too much malt and the hops used are quite stale and biscuity that don't show enough 'true' character throughout. I sampled this 500 mL can as Day Eighteen [of twenty-four] of the 2018 Christmas Advent Calendar, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 30-September-2018 for US$59,99/twenty-four, sampled at my house here in Washington on 18-December-2018.

500 ml can from the Kalea Advent calendar. Aroma is floral, herbal tea, old IPA smell. Pours hazy orange with a thick long lasting cream-white head—beautiful beer. Taste is lightly bitter, moderately sweet, with lots of floral hop and caramel malt character. Has the character of a subpar 1980/1990s era IPA. IPAs have evolved so far beyond this, it’s not even funny. Not good. The worst of these Kalea beers by a country mile.

Advent Calendar: I had my hopes up. When I first searched this, it looks like this beer had a pretty solid rating. False! Bait and switch, as that was the bottles version while this is Egerer's canned crap! Pour is nice. Smell is old early 2000s IPA. Taste is a metallix version of an old ass malty IPA. It is plenty bitter, but the cheap canning plus complete lack of wuality control is this beer's downfall. Crap.

Bottle Honey-ish beer. Sweet on nose with pumpkin honey presence. Sweetish taste, herbal character together with honey and of course pumpkin. Sticky texture. Good beer for cold days
