1l bottle. Champagne golden. Dry green apple, lemon, apple peel, minerals, some apple vinegar. Dry sourness. Light bodied, watery texture, low carbonated, dry sour finish. A refreshing Apfelwein, a nice summer drink.

Stengers Bembelchen Apfelwein naturtrüb, Literflasche von REWE, Bürgstadt. - Hell orangegelb, schwach trüb. - In der Nase frische, rund saure Äpfel mit zarter Boskoop-Süße und leichter Kellernote. - Antrunk schlank und recht natürlich apfelig-säuerlich-herbfruchtig mit zarter Restsüße und beträchtlicher aber natürlicher Säure. Gut rezent, schlank, leicht kellerig. Zitronensaurer Abgang. - Solider Apfelwein, womöglich ein wenig schmalspurig aber schön fruchtig-säuerlich-herb und dennoch rund.

Sample, thanks to Kolshtrinker. Pours clear gold. Presents a subtle fizz, gentle acidity, fairly dry with firm tannins (for apfelwein), soft fruit notes. Not bad.

24.05.2018 -- in a plastic cup from 5l bag-in-a-box in liebefeld, as "Stenger's Bembelchen Apfelwein", hopefully it's this one. pours a clear pale yellow with no head. aroma of apple juice, slight soap and tree bark. flavour of apfelschorle, mineral water, grass. very dry, maybe a bit watery, but this isn't too bad, it is quite sessionable.
