Description
Farmstead Cider is also the first commercial cidery in Wyoming in over 100 years. We got started by working to remove apples from trees that were attracting wildlife into neighborhoods around Jackson Hole. We quickly discovered an entire urban orchard in our own backyard, and the hardy apples we found are of incredible quality and diversity. Now we turn those waste apple into delicious, hand-pressed hard cider!

Pours mostly clear, pale, a soft haze. Bone dry, lean pale apples, mellow funk, a little bitter skin, grass, lemon, cobwebs. Spritzy, massaging carbonation. Dry, quenching finish, more dried apples and modest bitter peel, nips of acidity. Super drinkable.

Bottle from Press online. Pint glass @home. Living in between hazy & jellied, a pale gold color, lingering froth. Sour, fruit-forward, somewhat cherry, juice box nose. Upfront tart, cherry-crab apple, lovely woody note, lingering fruity astringency. Low alcohol, mellow carb. Pineapple, pith & froth all the way. Kinda great.

500ml cork & cage from Press online. Pint glass at home. Hazy, honey gold, large soda head. Earthy, sock-y, toffee apple, soil, faint vinegar, the slightest oxidation. Earthy, leather, strong twang, moderate funk, browned apples, a touch of glue, strong acid, bitter veg, popsicle finish. Slight body, irritating carb, boozy enough. Interesting.
