Description
An independently owned award winning micro-brewery, we started in an ancient milking shed just outside Bexhill, East Sussex. We’re now in a 2000 litre purpose built facility on the sprawling Sussex Downs just outside of Brighton where we brew traditional beers with a modern twist.

The music is always turned up too loud and in a nod to our roots, we have cows as next door neighbours.

We have a lovely community on our farm, working closely with our landlord and supplying beer to his son who runs the butcher’s and farm shop on site.

On cask at the Cask and Barrel. Appearance - close to opaque black but not quite. Some lovely cherry coloured chinks around the glass. Lovely fawn head. Looks great Nose - chocolate and caramel. Taste - honey and/or caramel with a slight biscuits backdrop. A liquorice note brings on the finish. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry malty finish. Overall - good beer. It grows too.

Golden colour. Not much head. Big apricotty nose. Soft, sweet character, not much bitterness but a lot id fruitiness. Maybe a little more bitterness would round it out.
