Description
An independently owned award winning micro-brewery, we started in an ancient milking shed just outside Bexhill, East Sussex. We’re now in a 2000 litre purpose built facility on the sprawling Sussex Downs just outside of Brighton where we brew traditional beers with a modern twist.
The music is always turned up too loud and in a nod to our roots, we have cows as next door neighbours.
We have a lovely community on our farm, working closely with our landlord and supplying beer to his son who runs the butcher’s and farm shop on site.

Cask @ Tapping The Admiral, Kentish Town, London. Golden with a small head. It’s not quite feeling its strength, but has a good palatability.

From cask by gravity on the second day of Plymouth Camra Beer Festival 2016. Jet black body. Not much head or lace. Black malty aromas, nicely roasted. Smoked malty flavours with a touch of oatmeal. The heat from chipotle chili towards the ending is not overdone, but well integrated. Nice and warming (Shared with Finn 24.09.2016).
