14/3/2020. Bottle sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear pale blush pink with a short lasting fizzed white head. Aroma is appley, sweet berry, light grape and champagne. Moderate sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Quite drinkable.

750ml wired cork bottle from Pilango. Opened with a loud pop. Pale orange-pink colour, big fizzy white foam head that rapidly dissipates away and aroma of berry fruits, strawberry, apple, light funk. Taste is tangy, tart, berry, apple, strawberry hints, with barnyard funky, yeast and rose wine notes. Medium bodied, high spikey carbonation, drying champagne-like finish with lingering berry. Quite drinkable.

750ml wired cork bottle from Pilango. Opened with a loud pop. Sparkling pale yellow gold colour, short-lived large fizzy white foam head and aroma of fleshy apple, funky, citric, hint of sulphur. Taste is juicy fruity apple, fleshy, some skin and core, with orchardy funk, leather, some barnyard, and white wine, citric notes. Slick mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso sentori di mela. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e la maniera in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Bollicine medie costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza. Il colore è giallo dorato. Il corpo è rotondo. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Al gusto vengono donati toni di mela, melone e zuccherino.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.4%. Clear and extremely pale colour, pours moderately sparkling. Nice aroma of cider apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Fairly refreshing and well balanced flavour of cider apples, semi-dry, a hint of sulphites.

Bottle at Taste of London. It pours clear pale gold with a fizzy head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, honey, apple pie, tannin and pear skin. The taste is crisp, dry, yet slightly sweet, apple pie, pear, floral, white grape, almost vinous in character and elderflower in the backdrop with a soft finish. Medium body and moderate, effervescent carbonation. Classy cidre by all accords and good fun.

Clear pale golden color with a bubbly head that soon vanish completely. Good intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Fine acidity. Lots of apples in this one.

500ml bottle from beermerchants.com. Pours a clear very pale yellow colour with a short-lived white foam head. Aroma is apple, hay, sugary. Taste is sweet apple, fruity, syrupy, with a melon-like note. Thin watery mouthfeel, light bodied, medium to high carbonation, dry lingering sweet finish. OK.

500ml bottle from BeerMerchants.com. Pours clear gold. Aroma is sweet, sugary apple juice. Taste is light & watery, verging too far into Kopparberg territory for my liking. Offensively inoffensive mass-market cider.
