Bottle, thanks to herrklemann! Pours deep orange with off-white head. Nose is, well, almost nothing. Some boozy notes, slight spicy rye character, super faint fruity touch. Tastes like a messy homebrew tbh, feels a bit oxidised. Light bodied with serious overcaronation. A shame, I would've been curious how it really is.

In my opinion, it is a regular stout, easy to drink, roasted malt, notes of coffee, a bit watery, some hop, a stout to start the night. 26.02.2017, buying it at Vienna, drinking it at home, Lausanne, Prélaz.

In my point of view, this beer is really too spicy, you have the impression to be in Oaxaca with a miscelada beer, less spicy and more hop. 01.03.2017, buying it in Wien, in January 2017, drinking it at Lausanne, Prélaz.

Definitely, it is not my kind of beer, even though this one is really smocked, you really have the impression to drink the smocked tree. 19.01.2017, drinking it in our rented flat, in Vienna.

It is an interesting doppelbock, not so smocked than some Bavarians sisters, malt, plum, apricot, bready and easy to drink. 01.02.2017

330ml bottle, pours hazy amber with almost no head. Aromas & tastes of bread, sugar & hot chilli. Medium body. Very spicy finish. Not enjoyable & unable to finish

Klare orange Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone, die zunächst ordentlich anwächst. Fruchtig malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich betont fruchtig mit Karamell und Ananas, süß malzig, ebenso klar erkennbar hopfig. Hohe Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, voller Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure. Nach meiner Einschätzung wie so oft von Forstner ein charaktervolles, seinen eigenen Weg gehendes Bier.
