Freshly Kegged at home. Pours orange. Nose is buttery and grainy goodness. Palate is sweet bready, grainy, orange. Quite beautifully done lager, and I am not normally a Fan.

Bottled 1000ml (Timo A’s Fliptop tasting). Dark amber colour, medium-sized beige head. Very sweet malty aroma, grassy notes. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish, grassy bitterness. Long lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Nice.

1L bottle (5%) @ Timo A’s Flip-top Bottle Tasting 2017, BBE 10.07.2017
Aroma has nuts, some bready malt and hayish tones. Flavour has nuts, some toffee, grain and bready malt. Nice, more malty and roasted than usual. Some grassy hops rise at the end of the glass. Nice and easy to drink.

(tap at the brewery) Hazy, orange-amber colour with an off-white foamy layer. Slightly yeasty, juicy malty aroma with fruity accents of apricots, peaches and citrus, herbal hoppy background. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, calm on carbon, quasi “ungespundet”. Dry malt character with fruity and floral notes; drying hops towards the lasting herbal-spicy and fruity finish. Very good. 19.XI.16

Buegelverschlußflaše (1000ml, purchased at the famous butcher’s shop in Uetzing):Deep golden, hazy, very stable creamy off-white head; moderate to solid nose of pale malt with a delicate toasty touch, mild but distinctive herbal-hoppy background; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied and pretty soft; robust and lingering bitter-sweet pale-malty and hoppy finish with a mild, but distinctive and drier bitter aftertaste. Great Bock, tasty and extremely well balanced, even suitable for vegetarians...

Hazy amber with a large white head. Aroma had floral hops and Munich malt. Flavor was quite full with malty and floral notes. Although sweet it still finished bitter from the fresh floral hops. Lovely interpretation of the style.
