#200 Zwickl rating. 1l bottle. Pours deep unclear amber with a foamy head. Full roasted malt, dark whole grain bread, rustic basement notes, hay, orange peel, rye, roasted breadcrumbs, Bauernbrot. Malty grainy sweetness, mild dry zesty bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry grainy zesty bittersweet finish. A great rustic Amber Lager / Kellerbier, very malt based, yet decently hopped.

--Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. -- Clear amber, rich firm head. Floral honey aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Husky fruity and bready with floral hops. Long bitter finish.

Draught@Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto. Deep amber colour with a mediumsized slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some grass, toffee and mild caramel too. Flavour is toffee, some grassy, herbal and mild bready tones. Silky smooth.

Colour is amber, slightly hazy. A stiff white head with good retention. Some butter, malt and grain in the aroma. Light sweet flavour with a hint of bitterness. Light bodied.

Draught @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Earthy, malty and slightly grassy with hints of berries, mild tartness and hay. Some weird off notes that don't quite fit in.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20220519) The beer poured amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and toffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, toffee and bitterness. Aftertaste was grassy, malty and bitter. A tasty and balanced brew nice malty notes.
