Bottle online from Blas ar Fwyd, North Wales. Pours unclear gold with dissipating clear bubbles. Aroma: sweet-ish, apple, mild rhubarb, bit cheesy, musty funk. Taste: moderate to heavy sweet, mild tartness, apple, rhubarb, pineapple, vanilla streak. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Mildly dry close. Somewhat odd, definitely an interesting flavour journey. But too sweet overall, for me.

500ml bottle from Spar, Llanwrst. Pours a deep pinkish purple. Aroma of mixed berry syrup. Flavour profile seems a bit artificial, syrupy mixed berries, cordial concentrate. Medium bodied. Not really for me.

500ml bottle from Beer Park. Deep golden colour, short-loved white foam head and aroma of apple, orchardy funk, leather, barnyard. Taste is tangy, apple, fruity, with orchard floor, leather, barnyard funk notes, and bittersweet drying tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry funky tannic finish. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle from Purple Moose, Betwys Y Coed. Pours clear pale gold. Gently sweet passionfruit coming through on the nose alongside gently sweet apple fruit. A good clarity of passionfruit and lime comes through to taste, blending nicely together alongside sweet apple fruit underneath. Clean, light, easy-drinking.

500ml bottle from Purple Moose, Betws Y Coed. Pours a misty yellow, aroma of wild funk, rhubarb. Taste seems to present sweet pineapple juice alongside mild rhubarb. Certainly less rhubarb than I expected, but nicely fruity with some nice natural cider notes and gentle woody moments. Light sour funk air. Soft fuzzy carbonation. Decent.

Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers Shawn! Hazy pale gold colour, short-lived white foam head that leaves a thin rim and aroma of muck, rhubarb, apple. Taste is sweet, rhubarb, musk, funk, bacon hint, some tart apple, apple skin, drying. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. Quite drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/02/21. Light cherry red with a decent crimson cap that dissipates and settles as edgework. Nose is mixed berry fruits, like a supermarket version blackcurrant cordial, sweet and a little sickly ... meh! Taste comprises raspberry, light berry medicinal notes, sweet berry syrup, sugary. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Was an apple even harmed in the making of this ? No thanks.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 20/02/21. Lightly hazed pineapple juice yellow looing with a white cap that escapes edgeward. Nose is tangy apple skin, rhubarb stalk, apple pulp, sugars, light dungy Red Bull tones. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple pulp, residual sugars, rhubarb and apple crumble, tangy apple. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fun enough fruited cider ... just a touch overly sweet for my liking.

Panda at home from SHIG. a clear ruby red pink head, coloured pour with a halo of pink head. Aroma is medium sweet, strawberry sweets, jammy berries, cough sweets, jolly ranchers. Flavour is composed of medium sweeet, clean strawberry, sweet berries, fruit sweets. clean. Palate is sticky sweet, clean , moderate carbonation. Good.
