330ml bottle from Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours deep brown with good tan head. Promising dubbel sweetness in the aroma. Taste is a flavoursome dubbel with plenty of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruits and spice. Without doubt the best Hafod I’ve had so far. Very good dubbel.

5th Oct 2015; Bottle share at Shrewsbury with Gene as guest. Dark brown bodied beer with a tan coloured head. Malt base with a herbal/medicine aroma and taste, think Underberg (if you know it). Not my thing, scored objectively..

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, Travlr edition, Oct 15, courtesy of myself, bought in Stori Beer & Wine, Bala. Pours dark brown. Supposed to be heather infused but I detected very little. For a brown ale though, it’s decent enough.

500ml bottle shared at a Shrewsbury bottle exchange group meeting with Gene as a guest on 5th Oct 2015. Golden brew with a decent white head. Citrus notes rule the aroma and taste with a light malt background noise stopping it being overly bitter and lemon like in nature. nothing wrong with it, just not my thing. Scored objectively.
