Keg @ sbwf 2018. Poured dark mahogany color with a thin white head. Marzipan, raisins, plummy notes, malts in aroma. Flavor has intense raisins, plummy notes, malts, marzipan like notes. Heavy, good drinkability despite abv. Awesome.

Keg at Stockholm Beer Festival. Almost clear mahogany colour, small head. Rich aroma of marzipan and dates. Sweet with full body and soft mouthfeel. Complex flavour of marzipan, brown sugar, dates, dark bread and grass. Warming finish. Complex, relaxed and tasty, Westvlereren style.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 5 Oct 2017) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, toast and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, toast, burnt sugar, dried fruit and a mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite enjoyable.
