21/9/2024. Bottle from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Pours a little unclear with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is prunes, dried fruits, berries, malts, toffee, molasses, bread, nut. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average carbonation. Good.

33cl bottle (as my beer #9100 @ Ratebeer) from Abbaye Sainte-Madeleine du Barroux, France. Head is big, tanned, almost good retention. Colour is dark brown, hazy , opaque. Aroma is dark malts, caramel, brown sugar, spicy, mollases, dried fruits, roasted tones. Taste is full malty base, roasted tones, dried fruits, caramel, chocolate, coffee touch, herbal spicy, dry on the palate, higher carbonation, quite good, enjoyed for sure.

Das letzte Bier einer Klosterprodukte-Bestellung 💒 aus Frankreich. Es ist ein starkes Tripel mit intensiven Alkohol- und Scotch-Aromen 🥃. Dadurch kommen die eigentlich schönen Gewürznoten nicht so zur Geltung, wie sie es verdienen würden. Kein schlechtes Bier, aber ich hätte mir mehr erwartet 😐
