Description
Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time. Look for our beers to start making their way around better known beer bars and beer focused restaurants in San Francisco starting in September.

We have a tasting room in the same building as the brewery and will offer tasters, pints, and growlers. Some beers may be bottled further down the line but for now it's all draft. The only way you can take our beer away is in the form of a growler - which by the way, is a great way to drink beer!

Look for a focus of plenty of hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. We are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so it's only natural for us to have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what we love. This is what we are all about. We hope you are too!

Please follow along for the ride as we build San Francisco's next great brewery.
Cheers!

Growler @ RBWG Fart Dungeon. Thanks Christer! Pours a clear deep yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma is quite potent- dank, spicy, some melon, and grapefruit. Dry, low bitterness. Cracker, light pepper, dank bud, light pine. High quality like usual from CM.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a very hazy pale orange color with a white head. The aroma is juicy. Big papaya, mango and pineapple. The flavor is creamy and fruity with some guava, pineapple and orange. It has a bready and lightly biscuity malt backbone. Low bitterness and creamy on the palate. Pretty much as advertised. A nice representation of this sub style of IPA.

On draft at Caps & Taps. It pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has mostly the cara cara oranges. Not picking up much kiwi. Smells nicely juicy and tart though. The flavor definitely has more kiwi mixed with sweet/tart orange. Very juicy and mouthwatering. Tart, but not overly sour. Citric, fruity tartness. Wow. Fruit juice for days. Very light and frothy in the mouth. The finish has some noticeable wheat bread. Awesome.

On draft at Cellarmaker. It pours a lightly hazed yellow color with a white head. The aroma has that typical Cellarmaker potent blast of fresh citrus and tropical fruit. A little bit of hop spice. The flavor is full with grapefruit and pineapple. Crackery malt as the base. A little spicy bitterness. Crackery and bready with a lightly creamy mouthfeel that sends this one over the top for me. Very tasty.
