Crowler fill from Growler Guys. Aroma is strong grapefruit, cat piss, orange, onion, lemon. Pours bright golden with a long-sustaining off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Taste is light to medium bitter, lightly sweet with lots of citrus flesh and pith flavor. A little too softly carbonated than I’d like (crowler issue?). Super good, but I remember the first version from a couple years ago being even better.

Crowler fill from Growler Guys. Aroma is clean, fresh hops, herbal; not a hop explosion, kind of subtle. Pours clear copper with a thick cream-colored head with great retention and curtains of lace. Taste is lightly bitter backed by a faint candy sweetness; flavors of grapefruit, herbal tea, pine. Nice enough, but I was expecting more.

On tap at Seattle Taproom. Pours a clear gold with a white head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has a great citrus note with a light bitterness and grains supporting. Flavor is full of citrus with a slight grapefruit bite and some light grains underlying.

Clear golden coloured body with a large, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of grass, fresh picked citrus hops with some tropical fruits and pine, and a good dose of perfume and strong herbal scents. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh hops with a big presence of citrus and tropical fruits, some mellow malt and a light grassy finish, but finishing without bitterness. Aftertaste shows the hops without any bitterness at all - very fresh and clean flavoured with a refreshing finish. Overall, a very nice IPA with a good robust hop profile but without any bitterness - all laid out without super complexities, but it works for this one and the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Pear Delicatessen in Seattle, Washington [State] on 18-February-2016 for US$2,25 sampled at home in [the real] Washington on 25-May-2016.

On tap at Paddy’s. Pours clear golden with a lacy white head. Taste is lightly bitter with a grassy, piney hop profile; it’s spicy, a little candy sweet. Aroma is faint, but that might be due to the idiotic frosty mug it was served in. Excellent for style.

Draft 8 oz pour at Sixgill. Stop #5. Pours a clear copper color wit a rocky foam head. Earthy hop aroma. Flavor is very smooth, with earthy hops, hints of fruit, and a sweet finish. Slight bitterness linger. I actually looked for this beer for a while. Enjoyable to say the least. I stad.byy previous statement. Bale Breaker is Washington state’s hidden gem. Nothing but good beers from these guys. No exception here. Solid IIPA.

Hop Mob at BPP. God amber mix. Good deal of green resin. Though most attenuated in my sampler. Some sweet hop flavors mixing with the resin. Love the lack of malt sweetness but not particularly enthralled with the hops.
