355ml can at home, from trade with bytemesis. Almost clear golden orange color with off white head. Aroma is hoppy and light malty, pine, grassy, nice dusty grassy weedy notes, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, orange, light caramel. Light sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Amber with a bubbly head. Massive dry hop nose covers up some diacetyl. Some light crystal malts up front. A fair bit of bitterness in the middle, with diacetyl coming in the finish.

Can, thanks Prufrockstar! Pours clear orange, medium off-white head, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is light, hints of citrus, dank, a hint of leafy tea. Flavor is very light sweet, light bitter, hints of dank citrus pine, along with a leafiness. Medium body.

I truly believe that Bale Breaker is the hidden gem in our brew busy state. Their beers never miss. No exception here. I’m not too surprised. Their backyard is the majority of the hops in this country. This beer is so damn good. Best blond I’ve ever had for sure. Draft pint at Frankies pizza. Clear gold color with endless foam head and lace. Hop forward aroma and flavor. Light beer with a ton of hops. Light fruit. So damn good.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous and piney hops, biscuity malt and some residual cereal-like sweetness. Flavour is hoppy upfront, with pine and resin, followed by an unfortunately high amount of residual sweetness - might be a slight diacetyl infection, or it's just the sweetness. Not one of the better IIPAs out there, but it's okay.

12oz can poured into keg shaped glass. Slightly hazy dark golden color, light honey color. Dated August 12 and consumed August 29, pretty damn fresh. Big head fades into surface covering lacing and lots of soapy bubbles on the side of the glass. Aroma has moderate hop bitterness and hoppy herbal, cedar, and light lemon with some fresh peeled grapefruit skin. A very nice hoppy aroma but the beer really shines in the flavor. Despite bitter smell the flavor is remarkably smooth and low on bitterness. The hops turn into hop juice with a light grapefruit and light malt biscuit. The hops are very lean with light bitterness at the end of the aftertaste. I have had this before and it’s super enjoyable every time, the best hop centric beer in Washington. At the abv it’s amazing in so many ways.

12oz can. Canned on August 11 consumed August 27. Sixteen-day-old IPA, not bad. Picked up from fridge section of University Village QFC. Poured into a can shape glass, to be precise its Free State’s Burroughser Weisse. Pours with medium head and average retention. Lacing is light. Color is clear dark gold. Aroma is mostly green hops but not over-the-top, not resinous, mostly piney-herbal mix. A light layer of floral and citrus underneath that. Bitterness is moderate on the nose. Flavor is similar but the hop bitterness is lower than anticipated. The beer finishes dry but not acrid. Malt is just a touch present, just a bit there balancing out some of the bitterness. This is a perfect example of a well made IPA that isn’t even the hops that appeal to me.

Deep amber body, small creamy head, thick lacing. Aroma equal parts malt and hops, taste favors the caramel malts. Good, but not as good as expected.

Can thanks to further: Poured a orange color with a white head. Aroma is mosaic, citrus fruity hops. Taste is a nice rugged fruity hops which reminded me why I like good IPAs.
