On tap at The Porch. Pours nearly clear copper with a long lasting cream-colored head. Flavor is fresh, citrusy, pineapple, earthy; fairly bitter. Aroma is a little muted, hopefully it opens up. I get a little pine, biscuit, earth, caramel. Carbonation average, body medium. Doesn’t taste imperial. This is pretty fine, but I was hoping for more.

Tap at Collins Pub, Seattle. Colour is clear orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some citrus, massive hops, hints of sweetness and malts. Well, lacks drinkability like most of the overly hopped dipas.

Draft @ Drover’s Run. Merry friggin Christmas to me… who woulda thought the newly remodeled Jacques Spur (off Highway 95, 20 miles from Lewiston) had a top shelf beer selection?! Bright golden pour with a thick, creamy finger of white head. Tons of lacing for the entire shaker. Nose is somewhat muted, but in all fairness it was served a bit too cold. Citrus, tropical fruit, and floral hops. Sweet and enticing. The flavor is huge hoppy goodness. Citrus, tropical fruit, floral… just a hint of pine. A medium body and moderate bitterness. Great flavors. I had a couple pints with dinner and I am impressed. Bale Breaker is on the radar.

Draft - Lots of pine and caramel. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Balanced hoppy and very nice. I don’t get any of the chocolate or spice though.

On tap at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma is pretty hoppy, with notes of Christmas spices, piney hops, and some bready notes. Flavour brings out lots of piney hops, along with bready, biscuity malt. Nicely balanced, with everything in good proportion. Good beer.

On tap at Seattle Winter Beer Festival 2014, pours a crystal clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, along with some biscuity malt. Flavour brings out more of mineral water, piney hops, and dry biscuity malt. Very well-balanced, with a nice dry palate. Nice IPA.

Keg at Pacific Brewing & Malting, Tacoma, 07/11/14. Clear golden amber with a moderate of white covering. Nose is juicy citrics, light floral, pine, tangerine, solid hop wafts. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, pine, orange squash, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness in the close. Solid IPA, blew the house beers out of the sky!
