Can. Hazy golden-amber color with nice creamy eggshelly head. Aroma is dank, floral, earthy hops, citrus and peach, resinous, tropical fruits, some toasted malts. Taste is toasted malts, dank, resinous, spicy, earthy, again peach and floral hops. Oily mouthfeel. These people really show a supreme knowledge of how to use their fresh hops. Again: supremely drinkable, and very nicely inserted spicy-earthy "old world" hop flavours.

Can, thanks luttonm. Upon opening the can, an aroma of floral-earthy fresh hops sprays the room, within seconds, and up to several feet away - incredible. Pours hazy yellow-to-golden color with nice white head. Aroma is floral-earthy pure hops, grapefruits. Taste is floral-earthy, spicy, incredibly nicely hopped, pale malts. Medium carbonation with a slightly silky mouthfeel. An amazing floral-earthy Pale Ale. Something for locals, and I am grateful I could try it in such a great condition. Totally underrated (albeit more old-worldy than fancy and aroma-hoppy), and immensely drinkable.

12oz can, courtesy of riversideAK, pours with a near clear gold body that supports a white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple and a mild malt sensation. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of juicy and bitter hops. I get bitter grapefruit and tangy pineapple bleeding into grapefruit and tangerine like hop juicy bitterness. The bitterness grows deeper into the sipping experience but remains restrained and cohesive. This is a real nice drinking IIPA that borders on being dangerously so.

Draft pour pint at Cloudburst. Try 2.0 of this beer. Had at Toronado a little while back and something seemed weird. Every beer deserves at least a second chance. Seems like Bale Breaker feels the same way. Besides, it’s a perfect day out for a beer like this. Fresh, grassy hop aroma. Creamy body, hop bitter covered by a unique sweetness. Not quite a fruit sweetness. Something I don’t even know about! Refreshing as an overall. Creamy, and exploding with hops. Two hop masters teaming up. This ultimately lead to my expectations being very high. Maybe too high. Overall, still a crusher the second time through.
