Heller, karamellig süßer Antrunk. Mild herb, helle Getreidenoten. Süßlich bleibend, die Herbe wirkt dadurch weicher. Zunehmend getreidiger, süffig. Nett. 10/8/9/9//9

Many thanks for this beer to Koelschtrinker. Pours a clear light amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor earthy, herbal and light grapefruit citrus hops, light malty.

0.2 l on tap at Bierbörse Hückeswagen. Minimally hazy, dark amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity, slightly herbal-grassy and a little soapy aroma of passion fruit, mango and fresh grass. Sweetish, slightly bitter, moderately fruity, slightly herbal-grassy and a bit watery taste of passion fruit, tangerine, grains and some straw, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, herbal-grassy and a little metallic finish. Thin to medium body, slightly watery and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite okay, a bit disappointing though.

Ok. 10/6/7/6//6

0.3 l on tap at the brewpub. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and quite fruity aroma of lots of banana, cloves and vanilla. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of banana, cloves, vanilla and hints of honeydew, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little sourish and rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite okay, not the best Weizen I’ve had, doesn’t feel that fresh. The Citra version was way better, not just because of the hops.

0.3 l on tap at the brewpub. Hazy, dark brownish amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly bready aroma of caramel, nuts and toasted bread. Sweetish-malty, nutty and bready taste of caramel, nuts, toasted bread and slight hints of chocolate, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit yeasty and minimally roasty finish. Medium to full body, rather creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. So simple, but very pleasant and satisfying, well done!
