4/2/2026. Can. From the Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following the World Beer Awards. Pours fine. Aroma is bready, malty, dates, molasses. Sugary sweet, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Improved on initial impressions.

375ml can into pint glass. From BWS, Glen Innes. Pours a caramel amber colour with a large head of white foam. Many tiny bubbles ascend. Manky nose of grass, caramel, nettles. Light body, easy drinking. Not much depth, finish is mildly bitter with hints of caramel. It's all up front with this one.

Nose shows hay, cereal, vegetal notes.Flavours include more hay and cereal, a bit sweet, very little balancing bitterness.

330ml bottle from BWS, Brighton Le Sands. Clear bottle. Good old rubber tyre aroma. Highly carbonated, Large head of foam, looks good. A little bit of malt, finish is sherbet and lingering tin. Drier and more flavourful than real 'Mexican' lagers but still not great.

24/1/2024. Can shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear almost colourless with minimal head. Aroma is sweet, artificial apple, sulphur, apple tangfastic. Very sweet. Moderate body, average carbonation. Some bitterness to finish. Not so good.

Very well made lager. Notes of straw, musk stick, dust and pine. Good length and body with a sweet-but-not-cloying finish.
