Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Golden with a slight haze and tiny impurities and a dense, creamy white head. Malty, bready nose. Medium body, pure, clean maltiness and a dry bitterness in the finish. Straight. 150610

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. Organic / bio-dynamic ingredients. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour, enormous white head. Decent aroma of malts and floral hops. High level of carbonation, big bubbles in the mouth. The flavour has also decent malts (from various esoteric grains), some nutty notes, with moderate but noticeable hops in the finish. Tolerably well balanced beer.

Bottle. It pours a big, dense, egg-white head head over a lively and hazy golden body. It mostly biscuity grains on the nose, but there’s also a pleasant underlying peppery fruityness from the hops. Some yeast hints blend in too. The flavor has a pleasant peachy, citrusy fruityness as well as a wheaty maltyness. Quite dry, and with sufficient bitterness. Medium body, a bit heavy on the carbonation. A rather short finish concludes the whole thing. There’s bitterness, citrus, pinecones and some maltyness in the finish. A beer that surprised me, in a postive way, as I wasn’t expecting much from it. 100515 --- Beer aliased from original tick of Meinklang Organic Dark Lager on 19 Aug 2011 at 15:29 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 3 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 3. Original review text: Bottle. It pours a clear, copper body and a small, beige head. Grainy nose with a fruity touch, some caramel hints. There’s not much bitterness in the flavor, except in the finish, initially it’s grainy with some fruits and caramel. Medium body, dry and decently carbonated. A drinkable one, but I’d rather drink water. 110819

330 ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden body with a big frothy off-white head. Aroma is light fruity and slightly spicy with a hint of acidity. Flavor is light malty and a bit sweet for a pilsner type beer, there is also some kind of matured or ripe fruit, slightly fruity acidic, spices, yeast and traces of an unpleasant rubber flavor. Medium body, still a bit neutral even if there are some odd flavors here. Not really bad, but still not my kind of beer.

330ml bottle from bestillingsutvalget, Vinmonopolet. Gushing, soapy white head quickly reduced to a few small patches on the surface. Unclear, golden body. Lighter smell of wheat and late banana. Herbal fruity flavour supplied by wheat and sweet grain. Modest hints of acidity on the swallow. A mild, semi-refreshing and half way interesting beverage (Tromsø, 24.04.2010).

Flaske 0,33 l fra bestillingsutvalget til Vinmonopolet. Gylden på farge. Litt uklart. OK skum som imidlertid flatet nesten helt ut. Dempet aroma med innslag av søt frukt og litt gjær. Smaken er behagelig: Avrundet & maltpreget. Svakt syrlig bitterhet etter hvert. KI=6
