Aroma has raisins, some fruity hops and mild cellar aromas. Flavour has some cellar tones, cardboardy tones and old hops. Not good.

Pours reddish orange with a small head. Aroma of moldy cellar, hints of malts and caramely notes. Taste is sweet, stuffy and malty with some earthiness and cellar notes. Finish is sweet, stuffy and caramely with hints of earthiness and syrup. Messy.

Flasch’: Deep golden, clludy, big and stable fluffy off-white head; bready malt, a tinge of soy-sauce and herbal to piney hops in the dryish bitter nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, accompanied by a certain tartness, light to medium bodied; lingering dry herbal and yeasty finish, again pretty tart, even in the aftertaste. Not undrinkable, but quite unharmonic...

(bottle, 33cl) Almost cloudy, murky golden coloured hue with floaties and a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, delicately grainy malty and slightly wheaty aroma with perfumed fruity notes of banana, apricots, accompanied by some floral touch. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a tame carbonation for a wheat-beer. Starchy malt- and slightly wheat-character with notes of banana and traces of apricots; medium-dry, sweet and slightly bitter finish with wheaty and banana-fruity notes, accompanied by late-arriving hoppy spicy, which is not that helpful here. Just okay, but not a particularly rounded Weizenbock. 26.XII.16

Pours dark copper from the bottle and leaves a fluffy sand colored head. Aroma is lemon with light undertones of roasted caramel malt and banana. Taste is tart, sour lemon. The sourness carries through into the finish. Refreshing, but too one dimensional in the taste.

Bottle (Ottobrunn gift): Golden, cloudy, small and stable foamy layer, moderate nose of exotic fruits and lemons , some grains detectable in the background; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, but pretty soft; slightly lingering bitter-sweet finish with - again - traces of exotic fruits. Not bad...

Pours clear gold from the bottle. Crown is white and foamy. Aroma is grainy, grassy, with occassional hints of locker room sweat. Taste remains sweet with a light souring near the finish, but overall uneventful on a palate that stays refreshing yet not quite watery. Okay if dull. Acceptable with a wide range of food.
