Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 10A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LB16312. AROMA: medium acidic aroma with a slight citric character. moderate yeasty note. no banana, clove nor wheat aromas detected. APPEARANCE: slight dark gold color and just slightly hazy. large, moussy white head with average retention. TASTE: slight citric/acidic note with a moderate sweet and yeasty background. very faint wheat flavor. Low bitterness with a semi-sweet to sweet finish. no esters nor phenols detected. PALATE: medium-low body with average carbonation. OVERALL: a weizenbier without the traditional characteristics and with a distracting acidic and yeasty aroma/flavor.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch LB16618. AROMA: predominant sulphur aroma with a slight wild yeast fermentation note. Very faint roasted malt background. APPEARANCE: dark brown color and hazy with ruby body against light. very large light brown head with medium-low retention. TASTE: predominant roasted malt flavor, almost burnt, with an acidic profile. slight nutty, oat-like flavor. medium-low bitterness from roasted grains with an almost dry and roasted finish that endures. PALATE: meidum-low body with excessive carbonation. OVERALL: a stout with fermentation problems, a bit on the burnt profile side.

AROMA: predominant sweet fruity aroma with background notes of solvent, mild oxidized hops, cereal husk and diacetil. faint malt background with caramel notes. APPEARANCE: dark amber color and very hazy. average ivory, creamy head with good retention. lace formation. TASTE: initial medium sweet and fruity flavor with a faint caramel-like malt background. moderate cereal husk notes and mild solventy presence. medium bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. cereal husk astringency present as a mild alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an English IPA with fermentation problems and also cereal husk presence and a complete absent hop character (except for the bitterness).

APPEARANCE: ambar color and hazy. moderate ivory head with good retention. TASTE: initial slightly sweet fruity note followed by high bitterness (hops and tanninic). neutral malt background. highly bitter, harsh, cereal husk and dry finish. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. high astringency presence. moderate alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a pilsner with fermentation problems and out of style.
